Vicenti, CPAs Selected as “Best Place to Work” and Top CPA Firm in Category

bptw_labj_2015_logoSEPTEMBER 2, 2015 (GLENDORA, CA) Vicenti is proud to announce that the firm has been selected for the 2015 “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. This list, comprised of an exclusive group of only 100 companies, is created annually by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Best Companies Group in order to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, who benefit the county’s economy, workforce, and businesses. Additionally, Vicenti was ranked as the top accounting firm in its category of medium-size companies.

According to the County of Los Angeles, there are over 244,000 companies in LA County alone, so selection to the Los Angeles Business Journal list is quite an honor. The “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” list selects a total of 100 companies in LA County, which are divided into three groups based on size. Vicenti was ranked 5th in the medium employer category (50-249 employees). Among the five accounting firms ranked in the medium category, Vicenti ranked 1st.

“We are deeply honored to have been named as a ‘Best Place to Work’ in Los Angeles,” said Linda Saddlemire, Vicenti Managing Partner/CEO. “The partners of Vicenti are aware that there are an incredible amount of organizations in Los Angeles County, including a very high number of accounting firms, and are pleased that we were not only selected in the top 100 but also ranked first in our category amongst accounting firms. Our recruiting team always hears from prospective employees that Vicenti has a great reputation as a wonderful place to work and this award further substantiates those accolades.”

The rankings of the 100 “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” were unveiled at an awards luncheon on Wednesday, August 19 at the JW Marriott in Downtown Los Angeles. A publication profiling the companies selected for the list was included in the August 24 issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal. The assessment for this program involves a two-part survey process. The first survey, completed by the employer, evaluates the firm’s overall culture, assessing areas like flex hours, health care coverage, retirement plans and offering paid time off for volunteering or community service. The second survey, completed by the employees, analyzes areas including corporate culture and communications, work environment, training and development, pay and benefits, and role satisfaction.
